About Me

Hello, my name is Michelle Howie. I have always been a photography enthusiast but it would only be in recent years that I had the courage to move from my stable teaching career (which I loved) into the unfamiliar business world to fulfil my dream of becoming a photographer. And boy am I glad I did, not many people get to say they love their jobs but my love for photography just continues to grow! It’s very easy to see Michelle has a special bond with animals and they clearly love her too. My Mini Bull adores her (and he is a very good judge of character). This bond enables Michelle to put the pets she works with at ease and allows her to capture their amazing personalities. It is Michelle’s creative passion and love for animals that makes her stand out. You only have to look at her work to see this. I can’t wait for her to snap our snapping turtle once he is rehoused in his new tank.
