I introduce to you the Cleary-Doyle Family! Mary and Connal have two wonderful children: Oscar and Claudia and it’s hard to deny just how adorable they are. This beautiful family was such a joy to work with and I had an amazing time hanging out with them in Bray for their family photography session.

We had originally decided that the session would take place in their families sea-front home and indeed, that is where the session started, with Claudia showing off her rocking horse and making sure that her baby Tina Turner wasn’t left out of the shoot. As a matter of fact, Tina Turner was such an important part of the day that she ended up becoming photographer’s assitant and even got the chance to get behind the camera with me and take some amazing photographs. As it became clear that the weather was well and truly on our side, we took a stroll onto the sea-front and boy am I glad we got to, the children were in their element playing by the sea and the setting made for a marvellous backdrop.

I loved spending time with this truly happy family. I can’t stop smiling now, looking at the photos which show the real nature of their family relationship.

I feel privileged to be able to share such joy and happiness with the families that I photograph.  Children really do grow up so fast and being able to capture candid, meaningful photographs of a family is a real honour.
