Two Humans and a Dog

Earlier this week, I joined Suzie, her fur-baby Mia and her son, Conor who will be turning the grand old age of one soon!

Suzie expressed that she would never be one of those parents who abandoned their dog when their baby came along, after-all Mia was Suzie’s first fur-baby and a mother’s love extends species. Suzie wanted some photos to capture her love for both of her children (fur or no-fur).

Suzie loves the outdoors and also had a mission to beat her friend in her stepometer competition so we took to the woods and walked around allowing Mia to get some exercise, Suzie to get her steps and more importantly a good chat between Suzie and myself before commencing the shoot.

We had already discussed Suzie’s needs over a coffee and I had suggested the type of photos I thought would work well, we found some perfect settings and got to capturing a few photographs. Here are just a few from the shoot:

During the shoot and after getting to know Suzie even better, I wanted to take an image we hadn’t previously discussed; I felt that it would suit Suzie’s personality and quirky sense of humour. Suzie loved the idea and with her support and amazing parenting we more than succeeded with what turned out to be her favourite photo from the shoot and I’ve got to admit, it may be one of my favourites to date!
